Practice Areas

Mr. Sherman is an attorney in the Litigation Department of Sproul Trost LLP.  His primary areas of practice include real estate litigation and business litigation.  Mr. Sherman’s practice includes representation of commercial and residential real estate clients, including developers and owners.  He also assists contractors, developers, common interest communities, businesses, and private individuals with a wide variety of legal issues, including defending and prosecuting claims involving breach of contract, shareholder derivative actions, negligence, construction defects, and title to real property. 

Mr. Sherman is a member of the State Bars of California and Washington, and he is a member of the Sacramento and Placer County Bar Associations.  He is also a member of the Real Property and Litigation Sections of the California State Bar.  Mr. Sherman is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts of California.
